Description

The RFP supports EBMUD’s relicensing of the Lower Mokelumne River Hydroelectric Project and includes technical studies addressing wildlife, botanical resources, special-status amphibians, and aquatic reptiles. The work includes implementation of the Wildlife Resources Study Plan (TERR-1), Botanical Resources Study Plan (TERR-2), and Special Status Amphibians and Aquatic Reptiles Study Plan (FA-4), along with GIS/data management, technical reporting, and potential relicensing support.

As part of our good faith effort, we request your assistance in posting and distributing this opportunity to qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, minority-owned, women-owned, small-business, disabled-veteran-owned, labor-surplus-area, and other qualified firms that may be interested in providing subconsulting services. The project includes focused special-status wildlife surveys; monarch butterfly habitat surveys; special-status bat roost assessments, including potential guano DNA sampling; wildlife mortality documentation; deer migration assessments; CWHR habitat mapping; sensitive natural community assessments; protocol-level botanical surveys; special-status plant, lichen, and moss surveys; non-native invasive plant surveys; northwestern pond turtle surveys; foothill yellow-legged frog surveys; eDNA sampling; giant garter snake and western spadefoot habitat assessments; GIS/database development; technical study reporting; and potential resource-effects and FERC licensing support.

The RFP specifically requires GIS and database management capabilities and identifies focused wildlife surveys, habitat mapping, botanical surveys, bat assessments, NWPT and FYLF survey methodologies, and other special-status-species work as core technical elements.
