Roswell JCC - Dorm Flooring Replacement (Carpet Squares)
Description
The carpeting floor coverings in the male and female dorm buildings have worn through and are in need of replacement. Each floor consists of a maximum of 22 rooms, and a minimum of 18 rooms. The floor coverings in the dorm building sleeping rooms and common areas have deteriorated to the point of creating an unsafe environment for existing students, and an uninviting environment for current and potential new students. The existing floor covering consists of roll carpet that is over 20 years old. This exceeds the life expectancy of this type of floor covering. The floor coverings have been cared for by students, dorm staff, and maintenance, but are now beyond repair and in need of replacement. Please see attached documents for full scope of work and.
This project is subject to prevailing wages under the Davis Bacon Act Wage Determination NM20260014, Revision 1, dated 5/18/2026. A copy of this wage determination is included in the RFQ attachments for reference. Weekly certified payroll reports are required to be submitted and approved prior to payment of invoice(s).
