Description

Albert A. Webb Associates (WEBB) is seeking qualified small and disadvantaged business firms to provide labor compliance services as a subconsultant for WEBB's proposal to the City of Hemet for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Oakland and Santa Fe Waterline Replacement, CIP 5661, in Hemet, California. The project is funded in whole or in part through a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Community Grant.

The anticipated subcontract scope includes providing a Labor Standards Compliance Officer; reviewing, verifying, and monitoring contractor and subcontractor certified payrolls; conducting workforce labor compliance interviews; verifying applicable federal trainee and apprenticeship requirements; reviewing payroll records for compliance with applicable federal Davis-Bacon and/or California prevailing wage requirements; documenting payroll corrections; identifying and reporting labor compliance violations; and preparing monthly labor compliance reports and certification documentation for the City.

The overall project is anticipated to include approximately 210 construction working days. Subcontract award is contingent upon WEBB's selection by the City. The selected firm will be required to comply with applicable City contract requirements, insurance requirements, federal flow-down provisions, and applicable public works requirements. Interested firms should provide a technical proposal, fee proposal, and documentation of applicable small/disadvantaged business certifications.
