Event description
Small businesses are now the most common target for cyberattacks. Criminals know that a small company often has valuable client data, access to bank accounts, and far fewer defenses than a large enterprise. In this practical, jargon-free webinar, James Elliman of Elliman Technologies explains how attacks on small businesses actually happen, including phishing emails, stolen passwords, ransomware, and fake wire-transfer requests. He then walks through the protections that do the most good for the least cost: multi-factor authentication, reliable backups, employee awareness training, and a simple plan for what to do if something goes wrong. You’ll leave with a clear checklist you can start on the same day, whether you manage your own technology or work with an IT provider.
