In this online workshop, SIBA will discuss how businesses can avoid wage theft, including:
- Understanding wage theft and common examples
- Wage payment and overtime requirements
- What employees must be paid
- How to avoid common wage theft mistakes
Kayla Miller from the Washington SBDC will discuss simple cybersecurity best practices like using strong passwords and multi-factor authentication, and keeping your Wi-Fi and devices secure, as well as how to protect yourself and your business from phishing and other scams.
