Part 1 of 2 - Workshop Session 2:00pm–3:30pm: Ready to launch your business but not sure where to start? In this free 90-minute workshop, we'll walk you step-by-step through the fundamentals of starting a business — no prior experience needed.

Led by an expert instructor, this hands-on group session covers everything you need to make it official: choosing the right legal entity for your goals (sole proprietorship, LLC, partnership, or corporation), registering your business name and filing a DBA, obtaining an EIN, appointing a registered agent, conducting a trademark search, state and local licensing requirements, bookkeeping basics, and other key startup considerations. You'll leave with a practical checklist and the confidence to take your next step.

Part 2 of 2 - Drop-in Session 3:30pm–5:00pm: This session gives you the chance to meet one-on-one with the instructor to get personalized guidance on your specific situation. Bring your questions, ideas, or concerns — this is your opportunity to get answers tailored to your business.

How it works:

• Each one-on-one session lasts 15 minutes. During the workshop you will be able to sign up for a time slot to attend the drop-in session.
• You will only be able to attend the drop-in if you sign up for a time slot during the workshop session.

Whether you're still figuring out your structure or ready to file, this series will give you the tools and confidence you need to launch your business the right way.
