Event description

As businesses increasingly adopt AI, cybersecurity can no longer be treated as a separate IT concern. AI introduces new opportunities for efficiency and growth, but it also creates new risks involving data, employees, customers, systems, intellectual property, and business operations.

The goal is to understand where AI creates security exposure, how those threats can be managed, and how to build a business environment where AI can be used productively without compromising sensitive information or operational integrity.

About Our Presenter: Michael Vanca

Mr. Vanca has been in Information Technology for over 35 years, 20 specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity as a senior executive and research fellow. His technical knowledge to incorporate the latest AI in various industry verticals and corporate guidance has resulted in a number of firsts. A keynote speaker, guest technology expert in many panels and podcasts, his ability to clearly explain and articulate difficult technical concepts has made him a highly sought after speaker and consultant.

Outside of professional commitments, he is a frequent volunteer, currently on the board of directors at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, California, has served on the boards of several nonprofits as well as starting two of his own. Restoring cars is a hobby, and animal rescue is a passion.
