Introduction to Federal Contracting
This introductory training provides a foundational overview of federal contracting and how small businesses can begin competing for government opportunities. Participants will learn how the federal marketplace works, who buys what, and where small businesses fit into the process. Key topics include how federal agencies purchase goods and services, the role of small business set-asides, basic registration requirements, and where to find contracting opportunities. Attendees will also gain insight into available SBA and partner resources that support businesses at every stage of the federal contracting journey. Ideal for entrepreneurs and small businesses who are new to federal contracting and want a clear starting point for entering the government marketplace
