Event description

Topic: Business Accounting

A balance sheet provides a snapshot of your business's financial position, but many business owners aren't sure what it's really telling them. This workshop will break down assets, liabilities, and owner's equity into easy-to-understand concepts and show you how they work together to measure the overall health of your business. You'll learn how lenders, investors, and financial professionals use balance sheets—and how you can use yours to make smarter financial decisions.

 Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand the purpose and structure of a balance sheet

  • Identify assets, liabilities, and owner's equity

  • Measure the financial strength of a business

 • Evaluate liquidity and debt levels

 • Use balance sheet information when planning for growth and financing
