Event description

The Power of Connection explores how simple, everyday interactions can strengthen human connection and create a lasting emotional impact. Participants will discover how becoming more intentional in the way they communicate, listen, and respond can positively influence relationships at work, at home, and in their communities. The presentation demonstrates that meaningful connection does not require grand gestures—often, a conversation, a smile, or a moment of genuine attention is enough to leave someone feeling better.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Recognize the emotional impact everyday interactions can have on others.
  • Practice simple ways to create stronger and more meaningful human connections.
  • Apply the Leave People Feeling Better mindset in daily conversations, relationships, and workplace interaction.

Our Presenter, Alexi Bracey

Alexi Bracey is a Speaker, Joy Messenger and Creator of the Leave People Better Movement.

Life’s challenges taught her that joy isn’t something we wait for—it’s something we can choose and create, one day and one interaction at a time.

Today, her message is simple: Leave People Better, everywhere you go.

Walking down the street, sitting in a coffee shop, attending a meeting, or simply crossing paths with a stranger—we all have opportunities to make someone feel seen, valued and a little better.

A smile. A kind word. A shared laugh. A moment of genuine connection. Small actions can have a lasting impact.

Through speaking and storytelling, she inspire people to make Leave People Better a daily habit—because we may not change the world, but we can change someone’s world.

Go be the best part of someone’s day!
